Frequently Asked Questions

Is it possible to hire a trailer just for an evening to go to Pony Club games practice?

All hire periods are considered. The minimum chargeable hire period is 5 hours. The trailer could thus be collected about 4pm and returned by 9pm to qualify for this charge, which would be adequate for a Pony Club lesson or rally.

What is the maximum load the trailer can take?

IFOR Williams suggest a maximum laden weight of 2500kg, so if you take off the weight of the trailer of 1000kg then the maximum load is 1500kg.

REMEMBER this has to include everything you put in the trailer such as tack, feed, haynets as well as the weight of the horses/ponies you are carrying.

Is insurance included in the hire rate?

No, we cannot provide insurance on your behalf. We can, however, supply the names of insurance companies whom can provide you with cover.

The most cost effective means of insuring the trailer at the minute would appear to be with E&L's monthly policy. Find out more at their website: www.eandl.co.uk
